A forever student of nature and art I was raised running barefoot and climbing trees in the Piedmont prairies of Virginia. With a constant drive to explore the world and my love of natural beauty I received my BFA in painting and drawing from The School of The Art Institute of Chicago with additional studies at The International School of Painting, Drawing & Sculpture in Umbria, Italy. After experiencing the good fortune of learning under many prolific painters, I went on to explore alternative ways of creating art, and found myself enraptured with landscape design and implementation.

Since entering into the world of permaculture, landscape design and garden maintenance I’ve worked on and lead dozens of projects of varying sizes & scopes. I currently work with a team of highly specialized land and water practitioners to plant, grow and maintain home nature sanctuaries.
